At the first attempt to press a 2mm thick slice of garlic, 3 blades broke off. Annoying. The second cutting surface (for strips) was attached below, the idea is good, but the blade should not point downwards but upwards. The blades are sharp and I cut myself when I touched them

The item IMMEDIATELY broke!! It seems like a good idea in theory but in practice the product would have worked marginally better than smashing garlic with a rock. That's a lie.. smashing garlic with a rock is way more productive! Chocolate tea pot anyone!? Oh yeah and it's dangerous and likely to cut you badly too!

The quality has gone down, I bought one a few years ago that has now given up its service due to constant use. These presses are super easy to use and clean. A must for every kitchen.
