[Uses Cirrus Logic's DAC chip "CS43198" and supports 384kHz/32bit, DSD256 playback] The K11 uses Cirrus Logic's DAC chip "CS43198" which has low power consumption and excellent audio characteristics. "CS43198" is a Master HIFI DAC that achieves the strict standards set by the company to provide audio playback that is truly faithful to the recording. By using this chip, we have achieved performance of S/N ratio: 123dB or more and THD+N: less than 0.00035%. [Achieved 1400mW output with fully balanced headphone amplifier circuit] The K11 has a fully balanced headphone amplifier circuit and is equipped with two circuits, one for each left and right channel, resulting in a balanced output of 32Ω. Achieved high output of up to 1400mW when loaded and up to 250mW when loaded with 300Ω. Furthermore, in order to suppress power supply noise that adversely affects sound quality, we have adopted a power supply circuit design that supplies independent power to each block of the circuit. The power supplied from the external 12V power supply is kept clean by low-noise LDOs in charge of each block, adjusted to the appropriate amount, and then delivered to the components. [Three-stage gain control supports a wide range of playback environments from IEMs to headphones] The K11 has three gain levels: High, Mid, and Low, which can be set on the LCD display on the front of the main unit. Adjustment is possible. You can always enjoy music at a comfortable volume level by adjusting the gain according to the efficiency of the connected earphones or headphones. The knob on the front is used to turn the power on/off, switch each input, operate the menu, adjust the volume, and other operations. You can select headphone output/RCA output exclusively by pushing the knob twice quickly, and each output can remember the last volume. You can select the appropriate output mode when connecting to active speakers or when connecting to an external amplifier as a pure DAC.
