This clay pot is made by Anraku Kiln, a pottery located in Arita, a pottery production area. Instead of using commercially available clay, we use a proprietary blend of raw materials that is baked over a long period of time using a special manufacturing method to create a clay pot with excellent heat retention. Why not try cooking fluffy and warm rice in this pot this coming season? It can also be used for boiled and steamed dishes. Great for small gatherings such as gathering around the table with your family, or having a home party with friends and colleagues. A pot for cooking rice. Enjoy fluffy, freshly cooked rice and share it with your family and friends. It can also be used for boiled and steamed dishes. Arita's proud earthenware pot is loved all over the country. ■Kiln Anraku Kiln■ A pottery in Arita Town, Nishimatsuura District, Saga Prefecture. Since our founding in 1932, we have been making fireproof pots for firing pottery called "boshi" (sagger pots), and based on the experience we have cultivated, in 1971 we started producing clay pots under the "Anraku Kiln" brand using our refractory technology. Nowadays, we mainly make clay pots, but we also make stoves, pots, and other accessories around pots. ■Technique■ By firing a uniquely blended raw material over a long period of time without using commercially available soil, an earthenware pot with outstanding durability and far-infrared rays is created that has excellent heat retention. The history of kilns began with the creation of materials called ``boshi'' (saggers), which were fire-resistant vessels for firing ceramics, and the unique technology that has been cultivated since then has allowed us to increase the heat resistance of up to 700 degrees Celsius, achieving heat resistance that does not cause cracks or cracks even when heated without adding water.
