The lamp itself is very small, so the magnet is also very small, which follows - not a strong hold❗ 🙄 A 1.37 cm cable runs from the lamp to the transformer with the on/off button and then another cable 27 cm to the plug 🙄 So, to turn on the lamp you have to bend down to the floor, as the switch is only 27 cm away from the socket/extension cable ❗😕 not on the sewing machine, but somewhere down there 😕 I wonder what you do thought of it?
It cannot be used for machines currently produced, the machine body is not iron, the magnet (tiny) is not attracted. Short cable, switch in an inconvenient place. Two stars for shining, could be used elsewhere...
The lamp does not have a Schwabenals as stated in the description but only hangs on a simple cable. Worthless for my purpose
